Mumbai: Renowned filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan recently shared a lighthearted moment on social media, revealing how her pet dog, Smoochy, has taken full control of her bed.
Farah Khan’s Pet Claims the Bed
Farah took to her Instagram Stories to share an adorable video featuring a dimly lit bedroom with a perfectly arranged, cozy bed. At the center of the bed lies her small, fluffy Shih Tzu, Smoochy, looking completely relaxed and in charge.
Adding humor to the post, Farah wrote:
“When you realize it’s actually her bed, and she’s just letting you sleep in it! @smoochythepoochy.”
A Nostalgic Touch with “Chand Tare”
To make the moment even more special, Farah added the classic Bollywood song “Chand Tare” from the 1997 hit film Yes Boss, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla. The song, sung by Abhijeet, features lyrics by Javed Akhtar and music by Jatin-Lalit.
“Yes Boss,” directed by Aziz Mirza, was a romantic comedy that also starred Aditya Pancholi. The film was inspired by Hollywood’s For Love or Money, and later influenced the Malayalam film Junior Senior and the Tamil remake Guru En Aalu.
Farah Khan’s Exciting Work Update
On the professional front, Farah Khan has choreographed the song “Zohra Jabeen” for the upcoming film Sikandar, starring Salman Khan. The highly anticipated movie is set to release on March 31, 2025.
Expressing her excitement, Farah said:
“I go a long way with Salman and producer Sajid Nadiadwala. One is a childhood friend, and the other is like a brother. I’ve done so many songs with them, and choreographing ‘Zohra Jabeen’ was truly special.”
She also shared her joy about working with Rashmika Mandanna for the first time, saying:
“She was a delight to work with—so easygoing and professional.”
Sikandar: Salman Khan’s Big-Screen Comeback
Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, Sikandar marks Salman Khan’s return to the silver screen after more than a year. The film boasts a stellar cast, including Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Babbar.
With Salman’s powerful presence and Farah’s signature choreography, Sikandar is set to be one of the biggest releases of 2025.
